SSC GD Exam Pattern 2024-25

The SSC GD Constable exam is conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) to recruit candidates for various paramilitary forces and security agencies. The recruitment process consists of four stages: Computer-Based Examination (CBE), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), and Medical Examination.

Hereโ€™s the detailed exam pattern:

1. Computer-Based Examination (CBE)

The first stage of the recruitment process is a Computer-Based Examination (CBE), which is conducted online.

Key Points:

  • Total Marks: 160
  • Total Questions: 80
  • Duration: 60 minutes
  • Question Type: Objective (Multiple Choice Questions – MCQs)
  • Negative Marking: 0.50 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

Candidates who qualify in the CBE will be shortlisted for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET).

3. Physical Standard Test (PST)

4. Medical Examination

  • Worse Eye: Distant Vision: 6/9, Near Vision: N9

Final Selection:

The final selection of candidates is based on their performance in the Computer-Based Examination (CBE), provided they clear the Physical Tests (PET/PST) and the Medical Examination.
